Gunner
- Foot artillery coat.
- Yellow leather breeches and black leather Hungarian boots with white tassel. In everyday dress, dark blue breeches and Hungarian boots. In field dress, dark blue overalls with leather inserts and red side band.
From 1810, grey breeches and overalls. - Black felt rounded hat bearing a brass rhomboid plate stamped with the crowned letters RA (for « Ridende Artilleri »). On left side, white plume over black cockade with yellow strap. Red and yellow cords and tassels. Black leather chinstrap.
From 1808, same shako as cavalry with same plate as before. White plume over black cockade with yellow loop. In full dress, red and yellow cors and tassel. Black leather peak and chinstrap. - White leatherwork. Black leather cartridge pouch. White waistbelt with horse artillery sabre with single bar brass hilt and brown leather scabbard with brass fittings. White sabre strap.
- Black leather light cavalry harness, red cloth saddle cover with white lace trim.
NCOs
As line cavalry NCOs.
Officers
As line cavalry officers. Cartridge pouch bearing a gilded rhomboid plate stamped with royal cipher. Red cloth saddle cover with two gold laces piped blue.
Trumpeters
Trumpeters’ insignias are unknown.
We can guess they have, as in line cavalry, dark blue swallow nests with yellow lace trim and tassels.
