Hatry (Charles chevalier)
Charles Joseph Jean-Baptiste Georges Hatry
Born on 18 January 1781 in Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin), died on 14 October 1813 in Leipzig (Germany).
Son of General Jacques Hatry, he is Second-Lieutenant on 17 February 1797, Lieutenant on 1st February 1800, Captain on 17 April 1801. He is appointed aide-de-camp to General Charpentier on 20 September 1808. Promoted to Major on 13 April 1809 and elevated to the rank of Knight of the Empire on 26 April 1810, he becomes Lieutenant-Colonel on 21 August 1812 and is appointed Colonel of the 3rd Light Horses Lancers Regiment on 11 March 1813. He is killed at the battle of Leipzig.
