12pdrs guns were usually drawn by eight horses, 6pdrs by six horses and 3pdrs by four horses.
Gunners
- Short tunic in red cloth with upturned front corners. Dark blue collar. Dark blue shoulder straps. Dark blue lapels closed to the waist. Dark blue cuffs with red cuff flap (trident shaped with three buttons). Straw yellow lining shown on upturned front corners. Brass buttons.
From 1810, lining became white.
From 1812, same coat with pointed cuffs. - Dark blue breeches, dark grey gaiters and black leather shoes.
- Black felt round hat with brass bottom metallic band. On left side, white plume over black cockade with yellow strap.
From 1809, infantry shako. White plume over black cockade with yellow loop. Black leather peak and chinstrap. - White leatherwork. Black leather cartridge pouch. White leather waistbelt with artillery gladius (faskinkniv) with single bar brass hilt and brown leather scabbard with brass fittings.
NCOs
As line infantry NCOs. Sword (underofficerskårde) with brass hilt and brown leather scabbard with brass fittings.
Officers
As line infantry officers.
Hornists
Hornists’ insignias are unknown.
We can guess they have, as in line infantry, dark blue swallow nests with yellow lace trim and tassels.
