Directly attached to the Artillery Corps there was also an Engineer Officers unit (kongelige ingeniørkorps) of 37 officers, a Fireworker company (fyrværkerkompagni) of 112 men and a Handworker company (håndværkerkompagni) of 106 men.

Engineers officers

  • Habits à pans longs de drap cramoisi. Collet noir. Epaulettes de grade Long tailed coat in crimson cloth. Black collar. Rank epaulets as in line infantry. Black cuffs with red flaps. Straw yellow turnbacks. Gilded buttons.
    From 1812, scarlet cloth coat.
  • Dark blue breeches with gold Hungarian knots. Black leather Hungarian boots with gold lace and tassel.
    From 1812, grey breeches.
  • Black felt rounded hat with gilded bottom band. On left side, white plume over black cockade with gold strap. Red and gold cords and tassels.
    From 1808, same shako as infantry with same ornaments.
  • Black leather waistbelt and sabre with red and gold sabre strap.

Fireworkers
Handworkers

Same dress as foot artillery with special workers’ sabre (håndværkerhirschfänger).
